Registered Psychologist – Assessment (Calgary)
Our growing practice is looking for an experienced assessment-focused Registered Psychologist. The ideal candidate specializes in the psychological and psychoeducational assessment of neurodivergent adults including, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities.
This casual contract position would be perfect for someone who prefers flexible work hours, values access to assessment materials and an experienced treatment team, and does not want the hassle of administrative duties (e.g., reception, billing, booking, etc.). Compensation is based on a competitive % split and commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Psychology
- Currently fully registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Preferred practice areas: Clinical, Health, Rehabilitation, Neuropsychology
Applied Experience
- The ideal candidate is expected to have familiarity with commonly used assessment tools and best practices for neurodivergent clients, and experience conducting and interpreting psychoeducational, ADHD, or diagnostic assessments for adults.
- The ideal candidate is also professional, energetic, and highly motivated, as well as has a strong understanding and respect for ethical practice.
- Demonstrates effective rapport building skills and excellent verbal and written communication, including strong report writing skills, clinical judgment, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with disability case management, is an asset.
- Strong caseload management and organizational skills are expected.
